All thanks to some seriously clever engineering and SpaceX cold-gas thrusters. Three configurations. Performance for the road, Thrust for the track and Rocket for the air. The Rocket version: 0–60 mph in under 0.59 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 230 mph. Beyond movies. Beyond imagination. Yet still made by humans right here on Earth. We've actually watched it fly. The national average diesel price has reached approximately $6.32 per gallon, up 74% from a year ago, after hitting a record $6.53 in September. The USDA's new Harvest Fuel Relief Program will provide one-time payments to farmers to offset rising fuel and agricultural production costs. The PLA Navy says it tracked the USS Charleston near Sabina Shoal in the Spratly Islands, and warned that its forces “remain on high alert at all times.” Beijing claims “indisputable sovereignty” over the area. The Philippines would beg to differ, since the shoal sits about 140 km off its island of Palawan, well inside its own exclusive economic zone. Washington calls these freedom of navigation patrols, Beijing calls them trespassing, and the Philippines just wants everyone to remember whose backyard this actually is.
