The bill passed 70-40 in the House and was approved in the state Senate earlier this month. DeSantis wrote the bill “expands pro-life protections and devotes resources to help young mothers and families.” This bill has changed the cut off for abortion from 15 weeks of pregnancy to 6 weeks.
