The Ten Commandments are now mandated to be displayed prominently in all public schools in Texas after the passage of Senate Bill 1515 on Thursday. The Texas Senate recently approved Senate Bill 1515, which requires every public elementary or secondary school to prominently display a durable poster or framed copy of the Ten Commandments in each classroom. The poster or copy must be easily legible to individuals with average vision from any part of the classroom. In addition, the Texas Senate has also passed a bill that mandates schools to allocate time for prayer. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick commented, "Bringing the Ten Commandments and prayer back to our public schools will enable our students to become better Texans." Critics of the bill argue that it violates the principle of separation of church and state, which is foundational to the United States. They view this decision by the Texas Senate as an infringement on individual rights by the state.

BREAKING: Elon Musk is about to launch his SpaceX Mars Rocket. 1) Starting at 08:28 local time a 62-minute window has been set aside to launch Starship. 2) If successful the aim in the future is to use the innovative rocket system to take people and cargo into orbit or to the Moon and Mars. 3) Musk said “Just getting the vehicle off the ground and not destroying the launch pad infrastructure would be considered "a win". 4) The top segment of Starship has taken flight previously on short hops, but this will be the first time it will launch with its lower-stage. 5) The aim is to despatch the ship on a near-orbital trajectory that concludes with it splashing down in the Pacific Ocean. 6) Super Heavy, which powers the first two minutes and 50 seconds of flight, will try to return close to the Texas coast. 7) It will be commanded to make a vertical hover just above the Gulf's waters, before being allowed to topple over and sink. 8) Although both segments will likely end the day on the seafloor, the goal is to have both halves of the vehicle perform controlled landings so they can be refueled and reused in the future.
