The reason for all this: He wants more ammunition. Well, in 24 hours, Yevgeny claims he got the ammunition he needed and said he'll continue fighting in Bakhmut. Either he's saying the truth and he got what he needed, or Putin gave him a call. One thing's for sure, Russia has never looked weaker. If may assumption is true and Russia is weakening, then the future could be either: 1. A peace deal as both countries want to end the misery and destruction. 2. Russia is pushed into a corner and therefore has no choice but to escalate, potentially using tactical nuclear weapons. My bet is on option 1, and I hope both countries will soon come to their senses.

Therefore, if you are securing deposits above $250k, you are essentially securing the funds of the affluent. But can the DFIC even afford to insure deposits above $250k if the system collapses? Are bailouts really the answer every time the system cracks?
