We Were Right, Media Was Wrong | Twitter 2.0 v.s. Mainstream Media
On Friday, my cohost Dr Danish broke the news LIVE on our space that a handshake deal had been reached to solve the U.S. debt ceiling crisis.
Despite Danish and me verifying this information with multiple sources and being the FIRST to break the news, we were heavily criticized by the mainstream media.
Patrick McHenry, a key Republican lawmaker involved in the negotiation, openly admitted the validity of our sources and denounced the leak.
He said “But the tweets, the context, the details, and all this stuff, and the leaks don't serve getting an agreement that changes the trajectory of the counter"
We were criticized and attacked for the leaks, yet we stood our ground despite all pressure
We now know, however, that a deal was indeed made, and it aligns perfectly with what we reported on our Twitter space.
This is another victory for citizen journalism and another defeat for legacy media.
UNCENSORED citizen journalism and @elonmusk’s Twitter 2.0 stand as the true embodiment of journalism itself, representing the authentic voice of the people.
Are we witnessing the slow demise of mainstream media?
