🚨IDF: ISLAMIC JIHAD MISFIRE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GAZA HOSPITAL BOMBING
Official Statement by the Israeli Defense Force:
From the analysis of the IDF's operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit.
According to intelligence information, from a number of sources we have, the Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed shooting that hit the hospital.
🚨ANALYSIS ON THE ROCKET THAT HIT THE HOSPITAL:
- The explosion was very large for a Hamas rocket
- There was no secondary explosion which means it wasn't a weapons site
- We need forensic materials analysis, but it is unlikely to be gathered.
- The blast yield is similar to IDF munitions, which makes it unlikely to be Hamas
- It is similar to a JDAM 1,000lb munition by yield
- A 1,000lb bomb is a missile the size is the weight of a Fiat 500. There are no secondary explosions so no weapons store.
- Final thoughts: There were no secondary explosions. Hamas might have been hiding in the hospital, but it wasn't a weapons/rocket store.
