🇺🇸🇬🇧 Trump and the King, alongside Melania and Queen Camilla, step into the first full British state dinner at the White House since Queen Elizabeth II’s 2007 visit. Charles, the second British monarch ever to address a joint session of Congress earlier today, joins Trump for a white-tie evening. The menu includes herbs from the White House garden and honey from Melania’s own beehives for dessert.

🇺🇸 Your gas car wastes 70% of its fuel as heat. EVs turn 85-90% of energy into motion. It’s a completely different machine. Tesla owners spend ~70% less on fuel than similar gas cars. The math was always this simple, most people just never saw it. Source: @Tesla, @elonmusk

🇺🇸🇬🇧 Tonight's White House state dinner menu just dropped: Dover Sole Meunière with potato pavé, spring ramps, and snow peas for the main course. Dessert: White House Honey & Vanilla Bean Crémeux, Flourless Chocolate Gâteau, and Crème Fraîche Ice Cream. Why do I feel like I'd still be hungry after?

🚨🇺🇸 The biggest obstacle to a deal may be inside the White House. Trita Parsi, Quincy Institute, Iran expert, says Trump himself has overridden agreements supported by his advisers. It's the inconsistent decision-making that's slowing negotiations. @tparsi t.co/fYHZMALggg

🚨🇺🇸 The U.S. may already be accepting Iran’s control in practice. Trita Parsi, Quincy Institute, Iran expert, says earlier proposals included letting Iran keep control while the U.S. benefits indirectly. That signals a shift in expectations. @tparsi t.co/13uYHc6XSP

🇺🇸🇮🇷 US Marines from the 31st Expeditionary Unit fast roped onto the Comoros flagged container ship Blue Star III in the Arabian Sea. Suspected of trying to run the blockade straight to Iran. They searched the vessel and released it after confirming the ship was actually bound for Oman. Roya News

🚨🇺🇸Trump does not need a perfect deal to claim victory. Trita Parsi, Quincy Institute, Iran expert, says ending the war and lowering oil prices may be enough to satisfy his base. Because economic gains matter more politically, than nuclear concessions... @tparsi t.co/S0eIyHz3tI

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 “Maximum pressure” on Iran is backfiring… again. Trita Parsi, Quincy Institute, Iran expert, just dropped a reality check: Iran has adapted to years of U.S. sanctions and blockades. The pain is real, but it’s nowhere near decisive. Instead of forcing collapse or total surrender, the pressure campaign has pushed Iran to build resilience, diversify its economy, and find workarounds: from higher oil exports to stronger alliances. Is Washington repeating the same failed playbook while Tehran keeps adjusting? @tparsi

🚨🇺🇸🇨🇺 BREAKING: U.S. Senate voted 51-47 to block a resolution that would have prevented Trump from launching military strikes on Cuba. RECAP: A lot landed at once today. Some of it ceremonial, most of it not, and none of it pointing in the same direction: 🇦🇪 The UAE just announced it's leaving OPEC on May 1. One of the only members with real spare capacity, gone. The cartel loses its most credible swing producer. 🇺🇸🇬🇧 Trump welcomed King Charles to the White House today. Charles then addressed a joint session of Congress. It was actually a heartwarming visit 🇬🇧 The new UK Ambassador chose today to leak that the US is more likely to have a special relationship with Israel than the UK. Timing is immaculate. 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran's Hormuz proposal got rejected. They're writing a new one. The original offer, end the war now, nuclear talks later, was a non-starter for Trump, who wants the nuclear file in any deal. 🇺🇸 US intelligence is meanwhile studying how Iran would react to Trump declaring victory and going home. Their own previous analysis says Tehran would call it a win. Almost a dozen C-17s are currently flying toward the Middle East anyway. 🇵🇰 Pakistan opened 6 land corridors with Iran to route around the naval blockade. 3,000+ containers already moving. Grain of salt on the numbers, but the move itself is real. 🇲🇱 Al-Qaeda's Sahel branch declared a total siege of Bamako and claimed credit for killing Mali's defense minister. The junta is still officially denying he's dead. 🇺🇸 Elon showed up in person at the OpenAI trial. Fauci's top deputy at NIAID federally charged with felony counts. The Trump DOJ is having a productive Tuesday. 🇺🇸 Trump approval at 34%. Grocery prices, $110 oil, an Iran war with no exit, and envoys who can't close. The numbers aren't complicated.

🇺🇸🇬🇧 Rep. McBride said the UK is doing more to hold Epstein-connected elites accountable than U.S. Prince Andrew lost his titles and Mandelson lost his ambassadorship, while the U.S. names in those files are still largely untouched. Sad but true. t.co/v9Mn2HWy5i

🇺🇸 Mentalist Oz Pearlman was standing right next to Trump when shots rang out at the WHCA Dinner this weekend. Now he’s pulled out of his Monday spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Here’s where it gets messy. Two days before all this, Kimmel ran a skit calling Melania an “expectant widow.” Pearlman later called the moment “nefarious and dangerous” and said watching it back felt surreal. Maybe it’s just the worst timing. Maybe it’s more than that. Either way… those optics aren’t great for Kimmel. Source: FOX

🇺🇸 The Pentagon just greenlit a 24,000% budget increase for drones. From $225M to $55B in a single year. Cheap, disposable swarms beat expensive one-shot systems every time. Ukraine and the Red Sea proved it, and the U.S. is finally catching up. Source: Fox News t.co/XEocG0CJbv
