🇺🇸 Hackers STOLE META'S SOURCE CODE
Attackers used an employee's STOLEN CREDENTIALS to access private GitHub repositories, making off with software code and personal information affecting roughly 1,500 PEOPLE, mostly Meta employees in the United States.
That sensitive personal data was stored in the repositories AGAINST META'S OWN COMPANY POLICY.
Meta says 99% of the stolen material was business data, primarily software code, while the remaining 1% contained personal information.
The company has shut down the unauthorized access, involved law enforcement, and is offering affected individuals credit and dark web monitoring.

Wow!
This comes right after OpenAI announced a device was found which was placed there in an attempt to steal info, yet confirmed no source codes of the models were stolen.
I'm thinking, what if these two cases were related? Like, OpenAI held META responsible for the device and did this in return to teach Marky boy a lesson?
