🇮🇷 A 23-year-old Iranian accounting student has been sentenced to death for a social media post... Najmeh Amini was arrested during January’s protests, and a court sentenced her to death on charges of insulting the Prophet, with a separate 12-year prison sentence on top of that. Her defence argued she posted the remarks while hallucinating after taking mushrooms. The judge’s response: “Why, in that same hallucinatory state, did you not insult America and Israel?” In an audio recording from prison, she said: “I am an innocent young girl with so many hopes and dreams. I only want one thing: be my voice.” Iran has executed at least 2,000 people over the past year. 💔 Source: The Guardian / Writer: Michael

🚨🇺🇸🇸🇴 Ilhan Omar is under investigation over her $30M financial disclosures dropping all the way to $100K... D.C. U.S. Atty. and fmr. Fox host Jeanine Pirro is OFFICIALLY investigating the case. Omar's relatives have now been subpoenaed, her D.C. home was targeted in a pre-dawn raid, and she's facing a probe over her immigration papers as well. This does NOT seem like a BS case... It seem like Ilhan Omar is genuinely f***ed! 😯 Writer: Michael t.co/ZyhJdepCf9

🇪🇺🇺🇦🇷🇺 The EU is sending another €2.86 BILLION ($3.3 billion) to Zelensky... 🇪🇪🇷🇺 NATO's Rutte, reassuring Estonia's PM: "NATO is with you in the air. Allied fighter jets at Ämari help protect the skies. On Sept 1, Turkish jets scrambled from Ämari after a drone crossed Estonia's border. And that is the mission doing its job." Writer: Michael t.co/VSglXnggk0

🇸🇦🇾🇪 Saudi Arabia’s big plan to move beyond oil is running straight into Houthi missiles... The kingdom wants $100 billion a year from foreign investors by 2030, but the attacks are making that a MUCH harder sell. This week, the bosses of ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, and others were dropped from a major energy summit in Riyadh. The city’s main airport, hit 4x in a week, is shut until at least Oct 17. Investors don’t need a country to collapse to get nervous. A closed airport and kids staying home from school are enough. And there’s no quick fix. Saudi’s own allies in Yemen are split, and Trump still hasn’t decided whether to help. The longer this drags on, the harder it gets to sell Saudi Arabia as the Middle East’s safest place to do business. Source: Reuters / Writer: Daniyal

🚨🇷🇺🇪🇺 NATO Sec-Gen Rutte was asked: "Is Russia foolish enough to consider attacking any NATO country?" 🇺🇸🇨🇳 China is buying American soybeans again, and U.S. farmers will be glad to hear it. It’s China’s first large order since the Trump-Xi summit last month. State buyers grabbed 8-10 shiploads, somewhere around 520,000-650,000 tons, set to sail from December. And farmers had been waiting weeks for it, after China went quiet during its big holiday. With this order, China has now bought about 14 million tons this season, more than halfway to the 25 million tons the White House promised. Still, it’s only state buyers doing the shopping. Private Chinese companies are sitting it out, since soybeans got left out of the tariff cuts the 2 sides agreed on. With the midterms 3 weeks away, every shipload is going to matter in farm country. 🇮🇹🇷🇺🇺🇸 Italian PM Meloni casts doubt on the Russia diesel deal. She says it risks legitimizing Moscow while it continues to fight Ukraine. I’d say she’s mostly scared that the EU’s relationship with Trump is quickly headed south, while U.S.-Russia ties seem to be growing stronger. It’s been a weird couple of years. 🇸🇦🇾🇪 Despite spending $83 BILLION on defense last year, Houthi missiles are STILL hitting Saudi airports and oil facilities... The Kingdom has invested heavily in U.S. Patriot and THAAD missile defenses, yet repeated attacks from Yemen have exposed their limits. The problem? Saudi must defend an ENORMOUS territory against missiles and drones coming from multiple different directions. The Houthis are also combining ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones to overwhelm defenses. Now Riyadh faces a difficult choice: escalate a war it cannot easily win, or negotiate with the group attacking its most vital infrastructure... Source: CNN / Writer: Samuel

🇮🇱 Israeli FM Gideon Sa’ar: “Pope John Paul II asked fmr. Israeli FM Ariel Sharon: ‘What is the difference between the Holy Land and the Promised Land? Holy to all 3 religions, promised to the Jewish people.’” So, if I promised my kid I would buy her a car and then lost my job… I guess she could just go and take one, right? It was promised! 🚨🇸🇦🇾🇪 Saudi Aramco's HQ suffered EXTENSIVE DAMAGE in yesterday's attack... The destruction may be far WORSE than Saudi officials initially suggested. Trump warned the U.S. is “going to do a number on Iran,” while claiming American forces control the Strait of Hormuz and are keeping oil shipments moving. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthis are exchanging fresh strikes. Oil is up, tankers are burning, and nobody knows for sure what comes next... Writer: Samuel t.co/Q2VfihI8GC

🇺🇸🇮🇱 Huckabee tries and FAILS to compare the FlyDubai incident to 9/11... “This was just one of those amazing things… We don’t know absolutely confirmed, but he has told some of the investigators that his goal was to fly it into the terminal at Ben Gurion Airport. That would have been catastrophic.” But it wasn’t… nearly 3,000 people died on 9/11, NONE in the FlyDubai incident. Why doesn’t he just become an Israeli citizen already and serve that country he loves so much!? Source: NY Post / Writer: Jamie

🇧🇷 Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro: “Those who think I’m a radical on public security haven’t seen ANYTHING yet. This is the city where King David established his capital, our capital, more than 3,000 years ago, around 1000 BC.” By that logic, Constantine the Great established Constantinople in 330 AD for HIS people.
