🇨🇦 Canada grants full parole to man who plotted to blow up Toronto
Zakaria Amara helped plan truck bomb attacks on Canada's intelligence headquarters, the Toronto Stock Exchange and a military base.
He was sentenced to LIFE in prison, but apparently that's more of a suggestion in Canada.
After four years of day parole without violations, the board says he no longer shows signs of extremist beliefs and has granted him full parole.
He'll still face restrictions and monitoring, but the contrast is something else.
Plot to blow up major Canadian landmarks, get a life sentence, and be living at home 20 years later.
