🇫🇷 FIREFIGHTERS are trying to put out a fire in Lyon. But first, POLICE have to PROTECT THEM FROM THE MOB
France is seeing another wave of violent unrest, and things have gotten particularly ugly at Place Bellecour in Lyon.
The city's tourist office has caught fire, and local reports say hostile individuals are preventing firefighters from getting close enough to tackle the blaze.
Earlier, protesters blocked roads, clashed with police and were met with tear gas as demonstrations over living costs spread across the country.
People are angry about the cost of living. That's understandable.
But firefighters aren't politicians. They're not responsible for anyone's bills or government policies. They're there to stop buildings from burning down.
When the people trying to save lives need police protection just to do their jobs, something has gone terribly wrong!

I’m making a definitive statement:
France has fallen and will never rise again. The sheer brutality emanating from the radical left, combined with Islamists, will destroy this country. Add to that the dire state of the national budget.
Not even Ms. Le Pen can fix this anymore. That also explains her words, and I strongly suspect that she has accepted that France has fallen, and that its decline will, at best, unfold in a somewhat orderly manner. As soon as she were to take decisive action—as would likely be necessary—a full-scale civil war would break out. The French Republic will not survive that.
