🇷🇺🇮🇹 Italy's Defense Minister: Europe's lack of strategic unity makes it vulnerable
"The problem is, who is Europe? Europe isn't one person. It's 27 different countries, plus the UK, plus other countries.
That is Europe's political weakness, which is also a military weakness. That's what makes it difficult for Europe to speak.
Who speaks for Europe? How much does von der Leyen count compared to Macron, Merz and Meloni?
That is one of the problems. Who speaks for Europe?
For more than a year, we've been discussing finding one person to speak for Europe, and we haven't managed to find one."

The thing is I don’t see it as a weakness when nations cherish their independent countries ( elected and accountable to their people) and still effectively work together without being gobbled into a one thing - with one all powerful leader.
NATO worked really well - until recently- that way of working could work with the same principles in Eur.
Ironically the EU structure and finances, imposition of dodgy extremist ideology like genderism threatens the idea of working together re military .
