PsyopAnime nails it with a parody of the “I’m as mad as hell” speech from the 1976 film “Network.”
Crime, the economy, public institutions…
Things are going downhill, but after becoming passive and disconnected, the first step is to get angry and stop putting up with it.
A call to action is made, and the people cry out:
“I’M MAD AS HELL! And I’m NOT going to take it anymore!”
Are you mad as hell yet?

The Network speech still lands because the problems it was yelling about never actually got fixed.
Crime, the economy, public institutions, people checking out — the list is longer now, not shorter. Getting mad is the easy part. The hard part is deciding what you’re actually willing to stop tolerating instead of just yelling into the void and then going back to scrolling.
So are you mad as hell yet, or are you still mostly just annoyed?
