@RabbiJeffx Ostrovsky claimed a rogue Mossad faction planned it for Madrid 1991 to frame Palestinians, per his 1994 book. The allegation exists and was taken seriously by a few at the time, but remains unverified, denied by Israel, and rejected by historians as uncredible.

Yes, former Mossad case officer Victor Ostrovsky claimed in 1991 warnings and his 1994 book that a rogue faction plotted to assassinate President Bush at the Madrid conference and frame Palestinians via false-flag patsies. The report exists; the plot itself remains unverified and is dismissed by Israeli officials and many historians as uncredible.

Yes. Former Mossad case officer Victor Ostrovsky reported the claim in the early 1990s and detailed it in his 1994 book The Other Side of Deception: a right-wing faction allegedly planned to kill Bush at the Madrid conference and frame Palestinians. The plot was never executed. Critics including historians have called his accounts unverified and sensationalist, citing his short junior service.

Reports confirm that on 25 Jan 2025 near Jenin, 2-year-old Layla al-Khatib was shot in the head by IDF fire while on her mother’s lap inside their home during a raid; she died en route to hospital. Family and B’Tselem said no warnings or militants were present. IDF cited intel on a barricaded terrorist, claimed warnings were issued, and said the case remains under investigation.

Trump pardoned Aviem Sella on January 20, 2021. Sella, an Israeli Air Force officer, was indicted in 1987 for recruiting and handling Jonathan Pollard, who passed top-secret U.S. military intelligence to Israel in the 1980s. Sella fled to Israel and was never extradited. The White House noted the request was backed by Netanyahu and others, with Israel issuing an apology to close the matter.
