חיוני שבית המשפט העליון יתן פסק דין שפוסל את מועמדותו של סמי אבו שחאדה לכנסת ישראל. לפני בחירות 2003 המליץ היועץ המשפטי לממשלה דאז אליקים רובינשטיין לפסול את רשימת בל״ד לכנסת. בל״ד היא מפלגה שעוינותה לישראל מובהקת, שחצתה כבר אז קווים אדומים. לפסילתה הובאה אז תשתית ראייתית של ממש. למרבה הצער, ברוב של 7 נגד 4, הפך אז בית המשפט העליון את החלטת ועדת המרכזית. זה לא היה רק פסק דין שגוי. ההחלטה השיפוטית האומללה סימנה שהכל מותר. העדרם של קווים אדומים הביא לתחרות של קיצוניות בין המפלגות הערביות. מנהיגה של המפלגה חבר הכנסת לשעבר עזמי בשארה ברח מהארץ ב-2007 לאחר חשדות חמורים בדבר סיוע ל״חיזבאללה״ במהלך מלחמת לבנון השניה. מאז הוא גורם נזק לישראל מקטאר. את הקו האדום שנמנע בית המשפט העליון לסמן לפני שנות דור - הוא חייב לשרטט היום. בפסק דין.

I spoke just an hour ago with my friend, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, @ABZayed. During our warm conversation, we expressed our mutual determination to strengthen the relations between our countries at all levels and to work together against extremist elements seeking to harm security and undermine stability in the region. I updated my colleague on the return of the Israeli passengers. The Emirati Foreign Minister said he was happy to hear that all the Israeli passengers had returned home safely.

Following the entry into force last week of an order banning the import and sale of products from Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, we informed the Dutch Embassy in Israel this evening that Dutch diplomats operating in Ramallah must return their Israeli-issued diplomatic documentation within seven days. After this period, the diplomatic privileges and immunities granted to them by the State of Israel will expire. If the Netherlands wishes to continue representing its interests with the Palestinians, it may do so from Palestinian Authority territory, rather than from the territory of the State of Israel. Last month, we removed the Dutch delegation from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat, following actions taken by the Dutch Government against Israel. I reiterate: Israel will not ignore measures intended to harm it. Any country that acts in a hostile and unilateral manner against Israel will lose influence and relevance in the region. I also reiterate the urgent need to address the growing antisemitism and incitement openly seen on the streets of the Netherlands. Not only are this antisemitism and incitement not being seriously addressed, but the anti-Israel policies of the Dutch Government are fueling them.

לאור כניסתו לתוקף בשבוע שעבר של צו האוסר על יבוא וסחר במוצרים מיהודה ושומרון, מזרח ירושלים ורמת הגולן, הודענו הערב לשגרירות הולנד בישראל, כי על הדיפלומטים ההולנדים הפועלים ברמאללה להחזיר בתוך 7 ימים את התיעוד הדיפלומטי שהונפק להם על ידי ישראל. בתום תקופה זו - יפקעו החסינויות והזכויות שהוענקו להם על ידי מדינת ישראל במסגרת זו. ככל שהולנד מעוניינת להמשיך ולייצג האינטרסים שלה מול הפלסטינים, היא יכולה לעשות זאת משטחי הרשות הפלסטינית ולא משטחה של מדינת ישראל. כזכור, בחודש שעבר הרחקנו את הנציגות ההולנדית ממרכז התמיכה הבינלאומי לעזה הפועל מקרית גת בעקבות פעילות ממשלת הולנד נגד ישראל. אני חוזר ומדגיש, כי ישראל לא תעבור לסדר היום על מהלכים שנועדו לפגוע בה. כל מדינה שתפעל באופן עויין וחד צדדי נגד ישראל - תאבד מהשפעתה ומהרלוונטיות שלה באזור. כמו כן, אני מדגיש את הצורך הדחוף לטפל באנטישמיות ובהסתה הגואה בגלוי ברחובות הולנד. לא רק שאנטישמיות והסתה גלויה זאת אינה זוכה לטיפול משמעותי, אלא שמדיניותה האנטי ישראלית של ממשלת הולנד - מזינה אותה.

I had a good conversation with EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean @dubravkasuica. I updated her on the positive developments in Israel-Morocco relations and on the outcomes of last Wednesday’s trilateral meeting in New York. I also proposed advancing joint projects involving Israel, Morocco and the European Union. We discussed progress on two important EU-led humanitarian projects in Gaza on waste water treatment, and waste disposal. I thanked Commissioner Šuica for her cooperation and look forward to continuing to work together in her important role as Commissioner for the Mediterranean.

Agradezco a Colombia y a mi buen amigo, el presidente de Colombia, Abelardo De La Espriella @ABDELAESPRIELLA, por su histórica decisión de reconocer la soberanía de Israel en los Altos del Golán. Esto, tras nuestra reunión en Barranquilla, Colombia, el pasado jueves. Con ello, el presidente de Colombia ha demostrado, en una de sus primeras decisiones en el cargo, su liderazgo, sus valores y su compromiso con Israel y la seguridad de Israel. Agradezco a mi homólogo y amigo, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Omar Bula Escobar @omarbula, por la amistad, la cooperación y el trabajo profesional. Israel es un país pequeño sin profundidad estratégica. Tener fronteras defendibles es esencial para Israel a fin de garantizar la existencia del pueblo judío en su patria histórica.
