I strongly condemn the severe acts of violence by Israeli rioters in the area of Taybeh. A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence. The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned in order to assist the law enforcement authorities, who are working to identify the attackers and bring them to justice. Without detracting from the severity of the incident, it is unfortunate that the visit was not coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped safeguard the visitors’ security.

An important and historic day in the relations between Israel and Colombia, and for Jerusalem, our capital. This morning, together with my friend, Colombia’s Foreign Minister @omarbula, I inaugurated the Embassy of Colombia in Jerusalem. I thank my friend, the President of Colombia @ABDELAESPRIELLA, who told me in Buenos Aires, long before his election: “If I am elected President, I will immediately move the Embassy of Colombia to Jerusalem.” He made a promise, and he kept it. This is the tenth embassy to open in Jerusalem. Since I took office less than two years ago, the number of embassies in our capital has doubled! I was pleased to meet today in Tirana with Prime Minister of Albania @ediramaal. Prime Minister Rama has led Albania continuously for 13 years, and in my opinion, is one of the most prominent and valued leaders in the world today. He is a clear and courageous voice on the international stage. He is also a steadfast friend of Israel, who has stood by our side in challenging times. We greatly appreciate his commitment to Israel's security and his resolute stand against antisemitism and terror. This was an in depth conversation about advancing relations between our countries, as well as about the situation in the Middle East and the Western Balkans. רק דוגמא אחת מהעדות היום: אנשי התביעה הכללית היו שותפים לתרגיל החקירה שהיועץ המשפטי לממשלה עצמו הגדיר כפסול. למרות זאת, הם ישבו לאחר מכן בדיון אצל היועץ בו נדונה השאלה האם ואיך לבדוק/לחקור זאת. בתוך כך - הם לא גילו ליועמ״ש על מעורבותם בתרגיל החקירה הפסול. t.co/sK0oBA5dIn

במהלך השנים האחרונות קראתי שוב ושוב בראיונות לתקשורת, בכנסים פומביים וברשתות החברתיות לסיים את סאגת משפט נתניהו. עשיתי זאת עוד ב-2023, בהיותי באופוזיציה. התיק הפך זה מכבר לגרוטסקה של אכיפת חוק. קו פרשת המים היה קריאת השופטים לשקול מחדש את סעיף השוחד, ממנה התעקשה התביעה להתעלם. במהלך המשפט נחשפו שוב ושוב כשלים חמורים ואף עבירות על החוק שבוצעו על ידי רשויות אכיפת החוק. התביעה טרחה לגייס לתיק מופרך זה לא פחות מ-3 (!) עדי מדינה. עבירת השוחד (על סעיף תקדימי של סיקור תקשורתי) נשרה עוד במהלך שמיעת התיק. היום התברר שהפרסומים הרלוונטיים שבבסיסה כלל לא נבחנו ע״י מי שחתם על כתב האישום. נותרנו עם העבירה העמומה של הפרת אמונים, שהולבשה, למשל, על אישום בגין עבירה לפי חוק המתנות כדי להעצימה. מאידך - כל אדם ששמע, כמוני, הבוקר רק את תחילת עדותו של היועץ המשפטי לממשלה לשעבר מנדלבליט, יודע שבוצעו עבירות פליליות (לרבות של הפרת אמונים) על ידי אנשי רשויות אכיפת החוק במהלך החקירה. כל זה קרה בחקירה נגד ראש ממשלה בישראל. התומכים בהמשך ניהול ההליך השיפוטי לא יוכלו להתעלם מכך שכעת הדבר משרת רק תכלית אחת: חשיפת האמת על אופן פעולת רשויות אכיפת החוק בפרשה וריסוק האמון הציבורי בהן עד דק. שש שנים וחצי של משפט (בערכאה ראשונה) שעדיין רחוק מסיומו ומה שנותר הוא רק הוכחה מובהקת לקיומו של מסע ציד, של רדיפה חסרת מעצורים נגד ראש ממשלה. אפשר לתמוך בהמשך כהונת נתניהו או להתנגד לכך. מהאמת אי אפשר עוד להתעלם.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian corrupt dictator, who has not held elections in over twenty years, has once again deceived the international community. His attempt to drag Israel into this, falsely claiming that Israel imposed obstacles to holding elections, is yet another ridiculous lie designed to evade responsibility and accountability. Just like the other lies about “reforms” that were never implemented — ending payments to terrorists and their families, and stoping incitement in the Palestinian education system. For over twenty years, Abbas has been selling the same thing: lies.

The Palestinian Authority hasn't held presidential elections since 2005 or legislative elections since 2006 Mahmoud Abbas is fooling the international community by canceling once again promised elections. His reform pledges to end “pay-for-slay” terrorist salaries and hate education remain empty too. They keep deceiving. Consequences? Not for the corrupt PA!

I am proud to see Israel return to Tier 1 in the U.S. State Department’s annual Trafficking in Persons Report. I thank Secretary of State @SecRubio and the @StateDept for recognizing Israel’s unwavering commitment to the highest standards in the fight against human trafficking. Israel is determined to combat this abhorrent phenomenon, protect its victims, and hold perpetrators accountable. We will continue to do everything necessary to lead this important fight. At the @Jerusalem_Post Diplomatic Conference at @FOZ_Museum in Jerusalem, I delivered two clear messages: The era of Israeli containment is over. The British Labour Government’s hostile actions against Israel have consequences. Other countries should take note. And Jerusalem is gaining friends! Next week, we open the 10th foreign embassy in our capital, double the number when I took office, with more on the way. 🇮🇱

I was pleased to welcome and speak with a cross-bench delegation of members of the House of Lords. I spoke with them about my decision to end the operations of the British Consulate in Jerusalem and other counter measures I had to take in response to Labour government’s policies against Israel. Very good and frank conversation! We still have good friends in the UK.

Congratulations, dear friend!

Over the past week, we held a dialogue with the British Government with the aim of preventing further deterioration in relations between the countries as a result of the closure of the Consulate. Last night, we reached understandings based on the following principles: 1. As I announced, the British Consulate in Jerusalem ended its role today. The Consul General and 19 diplomats are ending their assignments and will leave Israel. 2. The building that served as the Consulate is the property of the British Government. We have allowed the British Government to operate a task force of only seven diplomats from the building, which ceased to function as a consulate today. Their scope of activity will be very limited. 3. We agreed on the continuation of dialogue between the governments, within which both sides will be able to raise issues important to them. We believe in dialogue and will continue to believe in dialogue. Unfortunately, in recent years, no genuine dialogue has taken place with the Labour Government. This is despite good relations with Britain, reflected, among other things, in security and intelligence cooperation. Relations between Israel and Britain are important and have repeatedly proven their value also in protecting the lives and interests of British citizens. Only recently, Israel provided Britain with vital information in the RAF Fairford affair. All four measures in my statement of 8 September have been implemented. Alongside this, we reached understandings that serve Israel’s interests. In accordance with the understandings we reached, no measures will be taken against Israel as a result of the implementation of the decisions. I thank everyone who was involved in the dialogue and discussions and contributed to reaching the understandings on both sides. I cannot promise that there will not be further crises in the future. If there are, we will face them on the basis of our core principles. It is important to emphasise again that we did not initiate the current situation. We are interested in good relations with all the countries of the world. But any country that acts against Israel must know that there will be a price for doing so. It will not gain from this, but quite the opposite. Israel will no longer turn its cheek to diplomatic attacks against it.

We established a clear principle: It is not possible to act against Israel without Israel taking appropriate measures in response. In this spirit, the measures I announced on 8 September have been implemented: 1.The removal of the British representatives from the International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat. 2.The termination of British activity to train Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria. 3.The denial of entry to Israel of 12 British elected officials and other British citizens involved in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity, as well as those who deny our very right to exist. 4.The British Consulate in Jerusalem is ending its operations today. Accordingly, the sign of the British Consulate in Jerusalem has been removed. We did not want to reach this point, but the actions of the UK Labour Government brought us here. Their latest decision in this series was to initiate a range of far-reaching sanctions against the communities in Judea and Samaria, as well as additional sanctions on defence exports to Israel. All this was accompanied by hostile rhetoric, including false accusations against Israel, such as accusations of “ethnic cleansing.” This decision adds to a growing and escalating series of unilateral measures against Israel adopted by the Labour Government since taking office in July 2024. These measures included, among others, unilateral recognition of a virtual “Palestinian state” in September 2025; the renewal of funding to UNRWA; the suspension of licences for defence exports to Israel; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli ministers; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities; the suspension of negotiations on a free trade agreement; restrictions on Israel’s official participation in an international defence and security equipment exhibition in Britain; the freezing of military dialogue and security cooperation; the prevention of IDF officers from participating in training at the Royal College of Defence Studies; and repeated, biased and unilateral attacks against Israel in the international arena.

קבענו עקרון ברור – לא ניתן לפעול נגד ישראל מבלי שישראל תנקוט צעדי תגובה הולמים. ברוח זו יושמו הצעדים שעליהם הכרזתי ב-8 בספטמבר: 1. סילוק הנציגים הבריטים ממרכז הסיוע הבינלאומי לעזה בקרית גת. 2. הפסקת הפעילות הבריטית להכשרת כוחות הרשות הפלסטינית ביהודה ושומרון. 3. מניעת כניסתם לישראל של 12 נבחרי ציבור ואזרחים בריטים אחרים המעורבים בפעילות אנטישמית ואנטי-ישראלית וכאלו אשר שוללים את עצם קיומה של מדינת ישראל. 4. הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים מסיימת את פעילותה היום. בהתאם, השלט של הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים הוסר. לא רצינו להגיע לכך, אבל פעולות ממשלת הלייבור הובילו אותנו לכאן. ההחלטה האחרונה בסדרה היתה ליזום שורה של סנקציות מרחיקות-לכת כנגד ההתיישבות ביהודה ושומרון, כמו גם סנקציות נוספות שעניינן הרחבת השעיית רישיונות ייצוא ביטחוני לישראל. כל זאת, לצד רטוריקה עויינת הכוללת האשמות שקריות נגד ישראל, כגון ב״טיהור אתני״. החלטה זו מצטרפת לשורה הולכת ומסלימה של צעדים חד-צדדיים נגד ישראל שאימצה ממשלת הלייבור מאז כניסתה לתפקיד ביולי 2024. צעדים אלה כללו בין היתר, הכרה חד-צדדית ב"מדינה פלסטינית" וירטואלית בספטמבר 2025; חידוש המימון לאונר״א; השעיית רישיונות לייצוא ביטחוני לישראל; הטלת סנקציות על שרים ישראלים; הטלת סנקציות על יחידים וגופים ישראליים; השעיית המשא ומתן על הסכם סחר חופשי; הגבלת השתתפותה הרשמית של ישראל בתערוכה בינלאומית לציוד ביטחון והגנה בבריטניה; הקפאת הדיאלוג הצבאי ושיתוף הפעולה הביטחוני; מניעת השתתפותם של קציני צה״ל בהשתלמות בקולג׳ המלכותי ללימודי ביטחון; התקפות מגמתיות חוזרות ונשנות וחד-צדדיות נגד ישראל בזירה הבינ"ל. בשבוע האחרון קיימנו דיאלוג עם ממשלת בריטניה במטרה למנוע הסלמה נוספת ביחסים בין המדינות עקב סגירת הקונסוליה. אמש הגענו להבנות המבוססות על העקרונות הבאים: 1. כפי שהודעתי - הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים סיימה את תפקידה היום. הקונסולית הכללית ו-20 דיפלומטים (כולל הקונסולית הכללית) מסיימים את תפקידם ויעזבו את ישראל. 2. המבנה ששימש את הקונסוליה הוא רכושה של ממשלת בריטניה. אישרנו לממשלת בריטניה להפעיל במבנה, שחדל לשמש היום כקונסוליה, צוות משימה של 7 דיפלומטים בלבד בהיקף פעילות מצומצם מאוד. 3. סיכמנו על המשך דיאלוג בין הממשלות במסגרתו שני הצדדים יוכלו להעלות את הסוגיות החשובות עבור כל אחת מהן. אנחנו מאמינים בדיאלוג ונמשיך להאמין בדיאלוג. לצערנו בשנים האחרונות לא התקיים דיאלוג אמיתי עם ממשלת הלייבור. זאת, על אף יחסים טובים עם בריטניה, הבאים לידי ביטוי בין היתר בשת"פ ביטחוני ומודיעיני. היחסים בין ישראל ובריטניה חשובים, והוכיחו שוב ושוב את ערכם גם בהגנה על חייהם ועל האינטרסים של אזרחי בריטניה. רק לאחרונה העבירה ישראל לבריטניה מידע חיוני בפרשת RAF Fairford. כל ארבעת הצעדים בהצהרה שלי מ-8 בספטמבר - מומשו. לצד זאת, הגענו להבנות שמשרתות את האינטרסים הישראלים. בהתאם להבנות שהגענו אליהן לא יינקטו צעדים נגד ישראל כתוצאה מיישום ההחלטות. אני מודה לכל מי שעסק בדיאלוג ובשיח ותרם להגעה להבנות בשני הצדדים. אינני יכול להבטיח שלא יהיו משברים נוספים בעתיד. אם יהיו - נעמוד בהם על בסיס עקרונותינו. חשוב להדגיש שוב שלא אנחנו יזמנו את המשבר הנוכחי. אנחנו מעוניינים ביחסים טובים עם כל מדינות העולם. אבל כל מדינה שתפעל נגד ישראל צריכה לדעת שיהיה לכך מחיר. היא לא תרוויח מכך, אלא להיפך. הסתיימה תקופת ההכלה הישראלית - במישור הבטחוני והמדיני כאחד.
