Twitter spaces going a bit crazy today. Who to blame? In the meantime, below is my tweet of the day 😂 t.co/9VD3NrQ8Fy

#BREAKING: Pentagon Files ‘worst leak of secret documents since Edward Snowden’. New outlets confirmed their decision NOT to publish parts of the leaks for the sake of "national security" NOW I'm interested!!! t.co/CZJiK32Cav

Leaked #PentagonFiles Expose US Spying Highly classified docs give significant insight into US spying on allies as well as new revelations on the Ukraine war There are reports of 100s of leaked documents, setting the stage to significantly more damaging findings (LIVE thread) t.co/AnndUAWtOx

#BREAKING: Taiwan detects Chinese warships and aircrafts operating around them despite Beijing declaring an end to its war games yesterday. Taiwan's defence ministry said it had detected 9 Chinese warships and 26 aircrafts around the island as of 11am local time. "Although China's military exercise has come to an end, our military and national security team will continue to stick to their posts and defend the country.” - Taiwan’s President Yesterday the US sent a guided-missile destroyer through contested parts of the South China Sea. This all comes after France’s President ended a 6-hour meeting with Chinese President Xi, saying the EU should no longer follow the US on matters not concerning them, including Taiwan. Is China’s power, confidence and aggression growing? Will the US peacefully concede global influence?

#BREAKING: Twitter is Dead A filing at Southern District of Florida shows that Twitter Inc has merged with X Corp and now Twitter no longer exists. X Corp’s parent company is X Holding Corps. The new phase of Twitter will be X Corp. Is this the start of the everything app? t.co/vposdXKbGV

#BREAKING: A New Order in the Middle East away from the US and towards China? Iran just confirmed the reopening of their embassy and consulate in Saudi in preparation for a visit to the country in a few days. All this is thanks to China! The surprised CIA Director paid an unannounced visit to Saudi expressing frustration about their recent rapprochement with Iran Beijing last month hosted both countries where they agreed to resume diplomatic relations after a multi-year conflict. Iran and Saudi Arabia severed ties in 2016 after the Saudi Embassy in Tehran following the execution of a Saudi Shia cleric. This landmark agreement has the potential to transform the Middle East by realigning the 2 major powers, leading the region into China’s global ambitions and further away from the U.S. In 2015, Iran’s priority was improving relations with the US and EU. Today the focus is China, and the goal is to weaken US influence in the Middle East Not long ago, Biden urged Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE to join with Israel to contain Iran. But the Saudi government turned to China instead. Saudi satisfaction with US. policy in the region has been declining since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The relations did not improve under Obama and Trump, and are not improving under Biden either. China had previously been careful to avoid entanglement in the Middle East. But to advance their strategic priorities, Beijing is now preparing to challenge Washington for influence in the Middle East. Will China’s breakthrough with Iran and Saudi serve as the foundation of a new geopolitical reality in the Middle East? How will the US react to this new multipolar reality?

Space crashed again 😔 But yet another great discussion! See you again tomorrow, possibly more #PentagonFiles leaks After this discussion, is your stance that Ukraine is losing or winning the war? Will NATO's support shift after what we saw in this week's leaks?

Watch this for 10 seconds and tell me if you still think China is far behind the US... t.co/rDudmf9Jbd

#PentagonFiles: The leaks from the Pentagon have been monumental, expected at over 100 documents! The first batch of intel states that Ukrainians killed in action outnumber Russians 4:1, significantly higher than the 50% more Russian casualties mentioned by Western officials and the media. Furthermore, Ukraine’s medium to high air defence is almost depleted. SA-10 and SA-11 make up 89% of Ukrainian air defence. They ran out of SA-11 on 31 March 2023 and they believe they they will run out of SA-10 on 02 May 2023. In brief, the Ukrainian military could be in a SIGNIFICANTLY worse position than NATO admits. Do the Pentagon Files show Russia with the upper hand? Have the documents been altered by the Russians?

#BREAKING: French President Macron wants Europe to reduce its dependency on the US and become an "autonomous third superpower.” This comes right after he spent 6 hours with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He is currently still in China despite the Chinese military exercises encircling Taiwan. According to Macron, Europe must resist pressure to become ‘America’s followers' and must avoid getting caught up in the China-US confrontation 'The great risk is getting caught up in crises that are not ours' China enthusiastically endorsed Macron’s concept of strategic autonomy, a term Chinese officials constantly refer to in their dealings with European countries. Macron goes further: "The worse thing would be to think that we Europeans must become followers on this topic and take our cue from the U.S. agenda and a Chinese overreaction" Is the US slowly loosing allies to China? Will NATO support Taiwan in case of an invasion? Things are not looking good...

Global foreign currency reserves: 🇺🇸USD: $6.4 trillion 🇪🇺Euro: $2.2 trillion 🇯🇵Japanese yen: $0.6 trillion 🇬🇧UK pound: $0.5 trillion 🇨🇳Chinese Yuan: $0.3 trillion Is the de-dollarization narrative overblown fear-mongering?

#BREAKING: China’s military is currently conducting drills of an “all-round encirclement” of Taiwan, according to ongoing reporting by local media. Considering the ‘drills’ Russia did before the Ukraine war, I wouldn’t discount this as simply ‘posturing’ While unlikely, an invasion of Taiwan will almost certainly trigger a U.S. military response. This would be CATASTROPHIC not only for Taiwan, but for the world. The global economy would be screwed.

#BREAKING: Pentagon Papers Leaked Classified documents have been leaked which appear to show US national security secrets relating to Ukraine, the Middle East and China. The leak, which includes 100 documents, expose Ukraine's military strategy ahead of a planned offensive against Russian troops. The Biden administration have been caught off guard. A senior intelligence official called the leak “a nightmare for the Five Eyes.” Former Pentagon official Mick Mulroy called the leak “a significant breach in security” that could hinder Ukrainian military planning. On the other hand, military analysts told the NYT that the documents, if genuine at all, may have been modified as part of a Russian disinformation campaign. One example given was the documents’ misleading overstating of Ukrainian deaths and an understatement of Russian deaths. "I do believe it is an example of hybrid warfare meant to shake the faith of the Ukrainian population," Tom Kellermann Zelensky’s advisor called the documents “virtual fake leaks” Russian sources are skeptical, labelling the leaks as "disinformation by Western intelligence in order to mislead our command in identifying the enemy's strategy in the coming counteroffensive." Is this a disinformation campaign by Russia? By the US? Or a legitimate leak exposing NATO’s Ukraine strategy?

#BREAKING: Retaliation airstrikes just hit Lebanon. Just heard a voice note LIVE ON THE SPACE of Hamas saying they're waiting for the response from Hezbollah. If this is an airstrike, this will be the first airstrike by Israel on Lebanese territory since the 2006 war. If Hezbollah responds, this is a VERY SERIOUS escalation

Israel-Palestine-Lebanon There has been significant escalation over the last two days. Here is an overview of what has happened: /1 (a thread)

#BREAKING Crypto a threat to US National Security The US Treasury argue that an increase in the crypto market threatens US national security. There is a need for greater oversight and enforcement against money-laundering. DeFi platforms enable crypto investors to transact with each other. Brian Nelson, Treasury’s undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence said: “Illicit actors, including criminals, scammers, and North Korean cyber actors are using DeFi services in the process of laundering illicit funds.” Is this further proof the Restrict Act is being used to ban or control crypto?

#BREAKING: JFK's Nephew Running for President Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nephew of President John F. Kennedy, has registered a presidential campaign with the Federal Election Commission earlier today. Filings suggest he will be challenging Biden for the Democratic nominations. Political commentators believe that his chances of winning are a long shot. Does the Democratic Party need a new candidate?

Finland joins NATO Finland formally joined NATO on Tuesday and became the 31st NATO country. The border between Russia and NATO countries has now doubled. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said: “War has returned to Europe and Finland has decided to join NATO” Russian Foreign Minister said “Finland has become one of the small members of (NATO) that doesn't decide anything, losing its special voice in international affairs.“ Finland is one of the most combat-ready armies. Their annual military budget of around $6 billion supports standing armed forces of around 23,000. There are plans for Sweden to follow in the footsteps of Finland and also join NATO. Is this a further escalation and the start of a new Cold War?
